Stone Soup Workshop

A Hands-On Experience for Team Building

What is Stone Soup?

A one-of-a-kind experience that brings individuals from diverse backgrounds, life experiences, ages, and perspectives together in a fun and experiential team building event. The group will spend time learning about each other and hearing a century old folk tale that will shape their decisions in making a meal as a team.

Why should I participate?

Why wouldn’t you participate to share your skills with others, open your mind to new learnings and have a fun new experience with others.

We are at a critical point of needing better relationship and leadership skills in our country. These skills have proven to lead to:

  • Businesses growing more engaged employees, greater productivity, and increased profits;
  • Communities thriving and enjoying the benefits of including the voices of all ages in planning, decision-making, and taking action;
  • People experiencing more opportunity and less age profiling, ageism, and other related roadblocks to positive relationships, progress, and prosperity!

What is expected of the participants?

We hope that you feel comfortable participating in making soup with your table mates during the event and are inspired by our mission to bridge the wisdom and energy of all ages in your community and workplace through improved intergenerational communications and leadership.

When is the next event?

We will be announcing the 2025 dates for our next Stone Soup Dinner soon!

Is there a cost for this event?

Each event is different based on the organization hosting. When Roots & Rounds hosts the event, there is no cost to join the fun. If you feel this organization is worthy of your time, talent, and/or treasure, you’ll have an opportunity to show your financial support at the end of the evening. All donations help us ensure we can continue to bring people of all ages together to improve respect, inclusion, and innovation in communities and organizations at a reasonable cost.

What is the dress code?

Is there an age best suited for the event?

We welcome all ages but recommend ages 13 and up for the best experience.
